Kevin O'Brien
President, Owner
Kevin founded Agape Construction Company in 1985.
He is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia
with a degree in Engineering.
In addition to being a registered professional engineer, Kevin
is a certified journeyman carpenter. He has extensive experience
in residential construction and custom new homes. Kevin
has grown the business from a one man operation to 16 dedicated employees.
One of Kevin’s talents has been the ability to hire and retain experienced craftsmen.
Kevin believes that all aspects of Agape should handled with honesty and
integrity with the interests of others forefront our minds.

Laurie
Senior Architect
As Agape’s Senior Architect, Laurie brings 25 years experience in both commercial and residential design to the company. A graduate of Iowa State University, she is a licensed architect in the state of Missouri. Laurie is known for her attention to detail, creative designs and ability to capture a client’s dreams in three dimensions.

Dan
CAD Designer
Dan earned a degree in Architectural Technology from Ranken Technial College. He has 10 years of experience drafting residential remodels and new custom homes. Dan has the ability to manage multiple projects and provides an integral link from the initial design phase to the computer generated drawings necessary to build with. He also has a passion for landscape design.
“My goal is to produce accurate drawings that make it easy for the client to visualize their dream space.”

Ted
Sales, Estimating,
Project Management
Ted has been an Agape employee for over 9 years. He attended Meramec Community College and is a graduate of Ranken Technical College. With experience both as a lead framing carpenter in the field and as an estimator in the office, Ted is the perfect fit for sales and project management. Ted gets along well with everyone, and works hard to ensure the highest quality product.

Marie
Selections Coordinator,
Web Design
With a graphic design background and strong attention to detail,
Marie is the perfect complement to the Agape design team. She works part time, but has a key role - introducing clients to the vendors, showing them products, and helping facilitate selections. Marie also works on Agape’s website and serves as Director of Communications at her church.

Patrick
Project
Manager
Patrick is a talented Ranken graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Technology-Carpentry. He has 10 years of field experience, many as Lead Framing Carpenter supervising several of Agape’s Homer Award Winning Projects. It was an easy transition for Pat to take on the role of Project Manager. He enjoys working with subs and is dedicated to client satisfaction.

Brian has been a part
of the Agape Team for
over 8 years. He is a
member of the Marine
Corps Reserve and is proud to have
served our country in Iraq. Brian
is a strong leader who enjoys working
at Agape with his brother, Pat Kelly,
and delights in providing quality
craftmanship for Agape customers.

Lead Finish Carpenter
Another talented Ranken graduate, Chris shows great attention to detail. As a former business owner, Chris understands all aspects of the project. A great all around technician, Chris also has the ability to create truly unique custom items. He is a good communicator, showing genuine interest and concern for our clients.

Dennis
Finish
Carpenter
Dennis’ grandfather was a carpenter so it’s in his blood. Having 20 years of experience in the carpentry field, Dennis is one of Agape’s talented Trim Carpenters. He is level headed and enjoys working on both new homes and remodel projects. Dennis is passionate about the finish aspect of carpentry and prides himself on jobs well done.

Joe
 Carpenter
Trained as a carpenter, Joe has enjoyed working in residential remodeling for the last 12 years. He likes doing both framing and trim work. Joe is positive and conscientious, taking ownership of each job. For the last 19 years, he has also served in the United States Air Force Reserves.

As a framing carpenter with experience in both custom home building and residential remodeling, Jon enjoys the variety he encounters each day. Hardworking and upbeat, Jon has been a great addition to the Agape team. He enjoys working side by side with people who care about a quality job.

Harry
Apprentice Carpenter
After 18 years as a forklift operator, Harry made the decision to pursue his passion for carpentry and home remodeling. He went to Ranken and quickly became a role-model for other students, being a fast learner while remaining humble. Harry is versatile, working well with both the framing and trim carpenters.

Juhn
Lead Laborer
Dedicated to excellence, Juhn has been part of the Agape team for 7 years. He is greatly appreciated by every client for his positive attitude and concern for their project. He majored in Mechanical Engineering in the Philippines. Juhn also still operates his own concession stand, selling food on the weekends.

Manager
Janice joined the Agape Team in 2007. Friendly and outgoing, she likes working as a team member. A graduate of St. Louis Community College, she values follow through and likes completion. She is detail oriented, and enjoys giving 100% to her work, including managing all those receipts.

Amy graduated from MU with two degrees. She enjoys working at the front desk, talking to propective clients and managing the marketing for Agape. Amy has a strong desire
